8. Deine Rechte
Du hast jederzeit das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch gegen Verarbeitungen auf Grundlage von Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (Art. 21). Eine erteilte Einwilligung kannst du jederzeit widerrufen (Art. 7 Abs. 3 DSGVO). Schreib uns dafür einfach an info@squelease.com.

3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you visit the site, Netlify automatically processes data your browser transmits (server log files): IP address, date and time, page visited, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. Netlify may also process this data in the USA; Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
This is technically necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation). Netlify keeps these access logs for no more than 30 days. We have a data processing agreement with Netlify under Art. 28 GDPR, which is part of Netlify's terms of service.
4. Tester community and emails (Brevo)
When you join the tester community, we process your email address, your first name (optional), how you heard about us, and the time and IP address of your sign-up and confirmation. We use this data to contact you as a pilot family for the Squelease test phase and to keep you informed about news and the launch.
Double opt-in: After signing up, you receive an email with a confirmation link. You are only added to the list once you click it. Logging the sign-up and confirmation serves as proof of your consent.
Legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Logging the double opt-in is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (proof of consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@squelease.com.
Service provider: We use Brevo for the form and for sending emails. The provider is Sendinblue SAS (brand "Brevo"), 9–17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France. Brevo processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. When you submit the form, your IP address is transmitted to Brevo. Some of Brevo's sub-processors may process data outside the EU, for example in the USA, on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses.
Brevo can record whether an email was opened and whether links in it were clicked. This analysis is covered by your consent; if you do not want it, you can unsubscribe at any time.
Storage period: We store your data until you unsubscribe or the tester community is no longer needed. After you unsubscribe, we may keep your email address on a block list so that you are not contacted again (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Sign-up form: Brevo and Google reCAPTCHA
The pilot-family sign-up form is provided by Brevo. Your browser loads the required files from Brevo (sibforms.com) and Google reCAPTCHA (www.google.com, www.gstatic.com) only when you open the form, i.e. click "Join the tester community" or "Become a pilot family". Simply visiting the site sends no data to Brevo or Google. Once you open the form, your IP address and browser and device information are transmitted to these providers for technical reasons.
Brevo: See section 4 for details on the service provider and data processing agreement.
Google reCAPTCHA v3 (via Brevo): Brevo's form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect against spam and automated sign-ups. To do so, reCAPTCHA analyses information about your visit in the background, such as IP address, mouse movements, time spent on the page and browser and device settings, and may set a cookie ("_GRECAPTCHA"). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse). Access to your device is based on § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, as it is necessary for the sign-up form you actively opened. More in Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Language selection
If you switch the language, your browser stores this choice locally (local storage, entry "squelease-lang"). This information does not leave your device and is not sent to us. Storing it is strictly necessary to show the language you asked for (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete the entry at any time in your browser settings.
7. Contact by email and contact form
If you write to us by email or via the contact form, we process the details you provide (name, email address, message) to answer your request. The contact form is processed by our host Netlify (see section 3): Netlify stores your message in our account, checks it automatically for spam and forwards it to us by email. Netlify acts on our behalf under the data processing agreement. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual questions, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Just write to us at info@squelease.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Postfach 31 63, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany, datenschutz.hessen.de.
9. Encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by the "https://" in the address bar.
